Michigan Rural Network

What is the Michigan Rural Network?

The Michigan Rural Network is a coalition of groups and individuals from around the state of Michigan who work to improve the quality of life for citizens living in rural communities. The issues that the coalition's members address are very diverse; they range from community development to health care to land use. The Michigan Rural Network will work to forward policy at the legislative level that benefits rural communities, and it will work at the grassroots level to expand to include nontraditional groups.

Very simply, we’re working to give rural Michigan a voice.

Currently, there is no unified voice for all rural communities in statewide decision making, law making and financing allocations within the State of Michigan.
